Yoga Movement Therapy
Yoga Movement Therapy is a field of professional practice that emphasizes personalized, one-on-one therapeutic care. Using our intuition, we provide holistic support for a wide variety of life’s many challenges such as life shattering grief, injuries, trauma and disease. When we are traumatized by surgery, injury or emotional stress, we tend to store that trauma in different areas of the body, mind and soul. Often, where we feel the pain is not where the trauma originated. I honour the roots of yoga, including but not limited to, postures, movement, breath and meditation, as an integral and complementary additions to the medical care system.
Our journey together includes personalized assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management, and yoga practices for individuals one to one.
Group Classes
In small groups we use intuition and mindfulness to assist you in achieving a peaceful and in-flow state for the mind, body and soul! This journey will include personalized assessments, goal setting, lifestyle management, and yoga practices. Find benefit with the option to customize your schedule with one or two classes each week. The main class will focus on therapeutic movements and an additional class will focus on moving through flow.

From the information gathered, I'll develop a program that's custom-built for you. Each aspect, from physical movements to breath control and meditation, is designed with your comfort and progress in mind.
STEP 5 (optional)
Check-ins & Reviews
This step keeps us connected through regular check-ins, allowing for adjustments to your program as needed. We'll discuss your progress, tweak practices, and ensure your comfort and confidence in continuing your healing journey. It's about consistent support and making sure your program fits your evolving needs.
